What are the requirements?
An Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later, and a microphone (the built-in one works fine). Recognition runs entirely on-device.
Does my voice get recorded or uploaded?
Following does not record. PowerCue uses Apple's on-device speech recognition to track your place in the script. The audio is analyzed live on your Mac and discarded, and nothing is sent anywhere.
What is the difference between PowerCue and PowerCue Pro?
PowerCue is the teleprompter. PowerCue Pro is the same app with recording: camera, microphone, screen and computer audio, with an XML for PowerCut. One download; your license key decides the edition.
Which languages does voice following understand?
On macOS 26 and later, 60 languages and regions, all recognized on your Mac. The User Guide lists which run on which engine.
